Vote on the NHS pay award for Agenda for Change staff in England

What we’re asking you to vote on

The UK government has announced a pay award for the NHS in England for 2024/25. This is set out below and on the :

  • A consolidated 5.5% increase with effect from 1 April 2024 for all Agenda for Change staff in the NHS
  • Intermediate pay points to be added for Bands 8 and above
  • The UK government to issue the NHS Staff Council with a funded mandate to begin to resolve outstanding concerns within the AfC pay structure. The Northern Ireland Executive and the Welsh Government to support the issuance of this mandate and to work with the Staff Council, their social partners and with the UK government.

Why we need to hear from you

You’ve been awarded a 5.5% pay increase, backdated to 1 April, which you can expect to receive in your October pay.  

But it’s not for the government to tell us what we’re worth – that's up to us. 

Stand up for your profession and make your voice heard. 

It’s up to you to vote on this award. You have until 12 noon on Friday 20 September 2024 to vote.
